About the job

Referment is partnering with Kilnbridge who are the UK’s leading structures specialist who are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to help shape, build and elevate their profile across four operating businesses from a central group marketing function.

As an employee-owned business (via an Employee Ownership Trust), you will join a team that’s genuinely invested in doing great work and building a sustainable business for the long term.

Our operating businesses bring specialist strengths together as “One Kilnbridge“, delivering integrated solutions on complex and iconic infrastructure, building and clean energy projects across the UK.

What You Will Do

With the support from the Head of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Manager role will help deliver marketing activity across our four businesses, operating within a centralised group marketing department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement group-wide marketing activity aligned to commercial and business unit objectives.
  • Grow visibility for each business and its market offer and developing a consistent visual identity and tone of voice.
  • Turn projects into compelling case studies, project showcases, award entries and high-impact marketing materials.
  • Help with the management of our social media platforms day-to-day, ensuring consistency, responsiveness and measurable growth.
  • Plan and deliver events, exhibitions and industry activity that raise profile and open doors.

About You

  • Proven experience operating at Marketing Manager level, ideally within a multi-stakeholder or multi-business environment.
  • Background in construction, engineering, property or a related technical/project-led sector (preferred, not essential).
  • Confident content creator with high editorial standards and channel know-how.
  • Collaborative approach and the drive to turn ideas into delivery at pace.

Why Kilnbridge?

Your work will be visible across the business with genuine scope to shape how we show up in the market. You’ll have a real opportunity to help design and scale a modern Group Marketing capability as the business grows.

In the role you will have exposure across multiple operating companies and stakeholder groups. As a result of being an employee-ownership business, we foster long-term careers and pride in outcomes. For you this means you will have opportunities for long-term growth and career prospects as the function and business scales.

Marketing Manager

London | Full-time | On-site

If you’re tired of being the “doer” in a rigid marketing machine, this is your chance to be the architect.

You’re capable of more than executing someone else’s strategy. You want creative ownership, the freedom to shape brand identity from scratch, and work that actually moves the needle.

Here you will own part of the business through our EOT, with profit-share and real influence via quarterly strategy sessions. You’ll shape brand, channels, and campaigns across four businesses and build a marketing function from the ground up, with direct mentorship and visibility across the group.

Kilnbridge operates four specialist businesses delivering infrastructure, building, and clean energy projects across the UK. Each has incredible stories to tell, but those stories aren’t being told powerfully enough.

You’ll change that.

Your campaigns will win new clients and turn completed projects into competitive advantages. You’re building the marketing engine that takes us into our next growth phase.

What you’ll do

Translate technical excellence into compelling content. Site visits, engineer interviews, photography – then turn it into case studies, award submissions, LinkedIn content, and pitch materials that win business.

Own our digital presence and events. Manage social channels, plan exhibitions and client events, track results, adjust fast. You decide the content calendar and voice.

Bridge technical teams and external audiences. Work with business unit leaders to understand objectives, then deliver campaigns that support sales, recruitment, and brand positioning.

What you’ll need

  • You’ve led marketing in complex environments, ideally 3+ years juggling multiple stakeholders or business units.
  • You make technical topics interesting (construction/engineering experience helpful, not essential because we value fresh perspectives).
  • You’re a confident content creator with high editorial standards. You bring drive and pace: test, learn, iterate, deliver.
