Recruiting Myths: “Inhouse recruiters are just failed Agency recruiters.”

This is another recruiting myth that needs to be punched in the face.

Here’s few more myths to get you in the mood…

🚫 Jesus was born on December 25th
🚫 Mice love cheese
🚫 NLP is scientific
🚫 Fortune Cookies are Chinese
🚫 Napoleon was a shortarse

This “failed recruiter” thing was started by the agency sector back when companies started to employ their own recruiters in an effort to either improve their quality of hire, or reduce their cost per hire. And it’s been perpetuated ever since.

Not wanting to make 50 cold calls a day or not being able to tell a potential candidate who the hiring company is, doesn’t make anyone a failed recruiter.
