“£1.5m in revenue. Pretty outstanding given where we were before.”
Sometimes it’s easy to get lost in the immediate outcomes when training recruiters how to write effective job ads.
What I mean by “immediate outcomes” is the quality of their first attempt at writing their ads differently after they’ve done the course and are sat in either a group workshop or a 121 coaching session.
But the real impact is what happens in the medium to long term as they develop their writing skills and their job ads and direct messages start producing better results.
Which is why it was a pleasant reminder when I got this quote in an email that was sent from a customer who did the course about 4-5 years ago. It’s great to see the real impact our training will have if people apply it to every job vacancy they work on.

It reminds me of that apocryphal story about the tourist in London who’s looking lost and stops someone on the street and asks them “How do I get to the Royal Albert Hall?” and the someone on the street says “Practice.”
