Looking back at my job marketing prior to doing the copywriting course, I can definitely say it has improved massively and as a result, I get much more engagement from my messages and applicants from my job ads. It has consistently helped me to attract candidates who don’t necessarily have their CV on the usual job boards.

What is stopping the overwhelming majority of the recruitment agency & TA world from ditching the "We" focus and moving towards "You" focused ads? You can go on LinkedIn right now and read job ads from the largest companies in the world and scant few of them make any attempt to lead with the desired future state of the talent pool.

I've always had a keen interest in marketing and was familiar with the concepts the Copywriting for Recruiters course laid out. However, Mitch's expertise as a recruiter-marketer helped me implement these strategies into my recruitment process with fantastic results.

Now, candidates regularly tell me they’re not active, but applied because it felt like the advert was particularly speaking to them. It’s not only helped my job ads, but also my emails, InMails and even text messages.

I’d highly recommend the course to anyone who has anything remotely to do with recruiting people.

To say the Copywriting for Recruiters course changed my advert writing is an understatement. It completely transformed it! I’ve seen a significant increase in relevant applications ever since.

I'd like to think I'm already pretty good at taking the brief, but this user-friendly course was really helpful in giving me more structure and rationale. The questions Mitch suggests you use during the briefing are the real nuggets in this.

After 2 decades in the recruitment profession, it is always lovely to be surprised by or reminded of what makes a great job briefing session. Do yourself a favour & sign up. Hiring success starts or fails at the job brief.

I think this course is particularly valuable for newcomers into recruitment. It not only boosts confidence but also provides a comprehensive understanding of the crucial questions to ask clients when gathering new requirements. Even for senior recruiters, it's a valuable refresher. It prompts us to revisit questions we might overlook in our routine and introduces innovative approaches to extracting more information from managers.

It's easy to fall back into bad habits and this course was exactly what I needed as a refresher, and more. If you invest time at the start of the process and nail your brief, then you will make your life easier further down the hiring process. Most recruiters do not go into this level of detail and ask these sorts of questions. And the Copy Platform document at the end is great - it gives you a template to work with in the future.
